About Jake

Jake Klein

At 20 year’s of age, the Melbourne based Jake Klein, has already established himself as a talent on the rise in motorsport. With a year in the Toyota 86 Series already under his belt, he is looking to build upon that experience and win the series in 2017.

Jake finished in a respectable seventh place in the inaugural 2016 Toyota 86 Series, which also marked his debut in national level circuit racing. However Jake’s motorsport experience stretches back to 2005 when he took up Karting.

In Karting Jake earned himself several state titles and national awards in variety of classes. Then in 2015 he graduated to the Miniature Racing Cars series where he continued his winning ways.

A fan favourite, Jake is very approachable and easy to get along with, earning himself new fans at every event. He’s also quite popular amongst fellow competitors, having gained their respect both on and off the race track.

Outside of motorsport Jake fills his time by working as Joiner and Cabinet Maker. When he’s at not work or working on his race car, in his spare time, he’s an avid sports fan, either watching or competing in a variety of sports including AFL, Cricket and Soccer.
